It takes a couple of minutes, and you'll receive a copy to your inbox once it's complete. If you'd rather, you can also sign a paper copy on the day.

There's nothing to worry about in here. It's the same standard permission every guest gives, covering the recording of your conversation and how we might share your episode.

1. Permission to Record & Use the Conversation

Thank you for joining us and sharing your story. By taking part in the podcast, you kindly give Our Lives, Our Stories and its producer, Moment Creative Ltd, permission to record and use your voice, image, and contributions from the session. This may include:

• Publishing the episode on podcast platforms, our website, YouTube, and social media
• Using short clips for promotion
• Using the recording in future projects connected to the series

This permission is worldwide, free of charge, and lasts indefinitely. We may also allow trusted partners to use the material if connected to promoting the episode or series.

2. Appreciation & Payment

Your contribution is deeply valued. As a guest, you're appearing voluntarily and no payment is offered for taking part or for the use of your recording.

3. Editing, Production & Guest Review

We aim to present your story with care. Our team is responsible for editing the episode for clarity, flow, sound quality, and length. Before release, we will offer you a chance to preview the episode and let us know if anything feels uncomfortable or needs clarification. While the final edit rests with the producer, we always aim for you to feel represented fairly and respectfully.

To produce the podcast we may use trusted third-party software and specialist service providers for tasks such as audio enhancement, transcription, editing, captioning and production. These services act on our behalf to help us create the episode. We choose reputable providers and, wherever available, configure them using privacy-focused settings. We do not intentionally permit recordings to be used for third-party AI model training where such options can be controlled. We keep your privacy and the respectful handling of your story at the forefront of our production process.

4. No Obligation to Publish

Although we hope to feature every story, we can't guarantee that every recording will be used. Technical issues or editorial considerations may mean an episode is not released, and there is no obligation on either side.

5. Confirming Your Participation

By signing this form, you confirm that:

• You are over 18, or have the consent of a parent or guardian if under 18
• You are free to participate and to speak about your experiences
• Your contributions do not infringe on the rights of others

6. Release of Liability & Privacy

By signing this form, you agree that Our Lives, Our Stories, Moment Creative Ltd and its production team may use your contribution in the ways described in this agreement, and you agree not to bring claims arising solely from those authorised uses, provided the material is used in accordance with this agreement.
